Does this work with all Shopify themes?
Yes. PoolSync works entirely in the backend through Shopify's inventory system. There is no theme code, no front-end widget, and nothing to install on your storefront, so it is compatible with every theme.
What happens during flash sales?
PoolSync is built for burst traffic. Orders are processed through a queued, idempotent sync pipeline, and an optional safety buffer reserves stock to absorb checkout race conditions. If a pool ever drops below its buffer, variants are marked out of stock automatically.
Can I use this with multiple locations?
Yes. Pools are location aware, so you can run a separate pool per location and PoolSync keeps each one in sync independently.
What if my staff manually adjusts inventory?
PoolSync detects external edits made in the Shopify admin, flags the affected pool for reconciliation, and prompts you to accept the new value or restore the calculated pool value. It never silently fights your edits.
How is this different from other inventory sync apps?
