1. Agreement to Terms

By installing or using PoolSync ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, uninstall the App immediately. The App is provided by PoolSync ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

PoolSync is a Shopify application that enables merchants to manage shared inventory pools across multiple product variants. The App synchronizes inventory quantities between a master pool and linked Shopify variants in real time via webhooks.

3. Eligibility

You must have an active Shopify store to use PoolSync. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to bind your business to these terms.

4. Billing and Payment

PoolSync is billed through Shopify's billing system at $14.99/month.
A 14-day free trial is included. No charge is applied during the trial period.
Subscription charges are recurring every 30 days after the trial ends.
You may cancel at any time through the Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Refunds are handled in accordance with Shopify's policies.

5. Data Handling

We collect and process only the data necessary to provide inventory synchronization. This includes store domain, product/variant IDs, order IDs, and inventory quantities. We do not collect customer personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Data Deletion

When you uninstall PoolSync, all your data (pools, variant mappings, event history, sync jobs) is permanently deleted. Your Shopify access token is revoked and redacted. You may also request data deletion at any time by contacting support@poolsync.app.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
Use the App to process data beyond your authorized Shopify store

8. Limitation of Liability

PoolSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

Your use of or inability to use the App
Inventory discrepancies, overselling, or underselling
Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Service interruptions or downtime

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.

10. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate by uninstalling the App from your Shopify store. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms or if required by Shopify.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our business operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
